creativity as an economic multiplier has plenty of academic research behind it, but strategies to leverage this idea successfully are constantly evolving. sometimes, it's still just about making a good 'ad' that reaches a ton of people in the most unignorable way. but sometimes it's about finding unique ways to add value to a community (like sneakerheads, hip-hop producers, or grassroots music fans), earning attention in the right strategic context (like during the holidays or at an auto show), or perhaps making headlines with a lifetime movie.
the common thread across all my work is looking for exploitable edges in the market for consumer attention. some longer ramblings on this philosophy were generously published in Ad Age in 2025.
i've worked at creative agencies (currently Mischief @ NFA), in traditional consulting, and with brands/founders directly. i've helped tackle problems for massive global brands, pre-seed startups, and everything in between.
